This luxury holiday villa is situated in Las Cabanuelas in the province of
Almeria. It is a quiet residential area at the foot of the Alpujarras
mountains. The location is ideal for a tranquil holiday or with easy
access to numerous beaches, golf, and the city of Almeria.

The local amenities are 10 minutes walk away where you can purchase an
excellent selection of fresh produce supplied by local farmers (meats,
fruit and sea food). Also to hand are banks, a chemist and a church. There
are local tapas bars where you can enjoy a variety of local Spanish dishes
with your drinks (such as 'pinchos' small pieces of spiced meat on a
skewer or calamares (squid) and many more) as well as the plaza where the
local fiesta takes place in July. During the summer months the nearby
villages have their own local fiestas. In this part of Spain, the weather
is almost always hot, sunny and dry, with very little fear of rain!

The fiesta lasts for 3 days, during this time there are afternoon and
evening entertainments and a procession from the church. These include the
cooking of paella or local dishes by the women of the village, a fun fair,
and various music during the evening. There is dancing for all age groups.
There is a grand finale of fireworks on the final evening.

It is the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday, take a drive out and
visit the beautiful countryside or visit the beaches of
Aguadulce/Roquestas de Mar, play a round of golf in La Envia, visit
Almeria the closest large town, or one of the numerous villages in the
mountains. There are numerous restaurants and evening entertainment in the
nearby resorts. There is a large market every Sunday just 10 minutes away
where you can buy everything such as clothes, pottery, shoes handbags cd's
and mucho mas.
