Located on the outskirts of Morzine, a picturesque mix of old traditional
village and modern ski resort, the chalet is surrounded by mountains and
forests. It is a traditional alpine lodge with accommodation set over 3
floors to accommodate up to 14 guests. Refurbished in September 2003 to
include 3 ensuite bedrooms, the chalet has new wooden flooring on the
ground floor and the bedrooms are carpeted. All bathrooms are new with
stylish fittings and tiled flooring. The chalet has copious hot water
from 4 hot water tanks and has thermostatically controlled heaters in each
room.

On the ground floor there is a large dining room seating 14 around a large
communal table and fully equipped kitchen. The comfortable lounge area has
a wood burner which keeps it cosy winter and summer and satellite TV, DVD
and CD player as well as a good selection of board games for
entertainment. Outside there is a large secluded garden with views of
pasture, mountains and forests. There is a barbeque area with table, sun
loungers and hammocks.

Morzine is an all year round resort which retains its picturesque charm
and the culture of its farming background with weekly demonstrations of
the local traditions of cheese making and slate mining. A village of
contrasts, in summer the atmosphere is laid back, the perfect place to
relax or take part in the many activities on offer. In winter it is a
bustling with skiers and boarders. The resort has 4 entry points to the
vast Portes du Soleil area with 650 km of piste to suit even the most
adventurous enthusiast to the most hesitant beginner.
