This ancient Tuscan farmhouse, adjacent to a country-seat, was recently
restored in all respects of the rural nineteenth-century style. It is
located few km from Altopascio, a small medieval village near Lucca, and
between Pisa and Florence. The entrance to the apartment is through a
staircase with Tuscan brickwork step. This holiday house, whose apartment
is on two floors, was originally an old stable with a wonderful Tuscan
�mezzane� arched ceiling on the ground floor, and a barn on the first
floor. The inside of the apartment is very nice and comfortable. The
furniture and the decorations are original of end of '800. In the dining
room, a large table, with a Carrara's marble top, is very useful for 6
people. In the apartment you will see a lot of ancient tools; also the old
objects from grandmother�s kitchen have been set off with restoration and
decoration and also take a look at the Grandfather�s steelyard, the oil
jar, the hand decorated ash-tray. The kitchen is complete with oven,
refrigerator and freezer. Particular cure has been placed in the recovery
of kitchen and work tools original of this farmstead. You will reach the
first floor through an iron staircase. The outside of the house is
completed by a nice furnished garden. Some lemon-tree adorns this typical
Tuscany farmstead. This holiday house is ideal for relax and thanks to its
central position for excursions to Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Collodi and
other important art cities. There is no swimming pool
